need 的用法：
(1)用作实义动词，意为“需要”。此时 need 有人称和数的变化，主要有以下用法：
①need sth 需要某物
I think I need a new bike.
我认为我需要一辆新自行车。
②need to do sth 需要做某事
He needs to make some friends.
他需要结交一些朋友。
③need doing 需要被做(主语常为物，表示被动)
The room needs cleaning.
这个房间需要打扫。
④need sb to do sth 需要某人做某事
I need you to go with me.
我需要你和我一起去。
(2)用作情态动词，意为“需要”，没有时态、人称和数的变化，后接动词原形，多用于否定句或疑问句。
You needn’t worry about me. 你不必担心我。
—Need I come tomorrow? ——明天我需要来吗？
—No，you needn’t.——不，你没有必要来。
(3)用作不可数名词，意为“需要”。常考句型为 There is no need to do sth. 没有必要做某事。
There is no need for you to get up early tomorrow. 你明天不必早起。
