if only 引导条件状语从句，意为“要是……就好了；只要”，后面的从句常用虚拟语气。
if only... 用于虚拟语气时应注意：
(1) 若表示与将来事实相反的情况，从句谓语用 would/could + do；
(2) 若表示与现在事实相反，从句谓语则用动词的过去式(be 动词用 were)；
(3) 若表示与过去事实相反，从句谓语则用 had done。
