I remember I was weak in English when I was in Grade 8,so I decided to give it up. My English teacher found me absent from the class. She tried to persuade me to practice English more. She told me that practice makes perfect and good learners keep practicing what they have learned. With her help,I read English and recited it more often,and I got better at English at last. Thanks to her encouragement,I improved my English. From then on,I have learned a lesson from it. That is what the saying goes,"No pain,no gain."
