II.阅读理解。
The story happened on January 31st, 1978. Three boys were skating in Montvale, New Jersey, when they saw a flying object in the sky. It was a square with round corners. And at each corner there was a yellow light.
Before they talked about what had happened, they noticed a man in a yellow suit cross the road from the field. The boys thought he was a neighbor who often walked in the evening. “Mr. Johnson,” they asked, “did you see the UFO?” Suddenly the man turned to the boys, but it was not Mr. Johnson. He looked more like a hawk(鹰)than a man. Then, before he could answer, the other creatures(生物), all in yellow suits joined him. Each one had large, dark, square holes.
The boys noticed another one−−a woman, they believed. She was wearing a short dress and walking down the road, and at last the woman disappeared(消失)completely.
The boys hurried to their houses and after a few minutes' discussion, they decided to telephone the police. It turned out that no other UFO reports had been made that night, but the boys didn't doubt what they had seen.
