Earlier in 2023, 5 - year - old boy Kameron began to behave badly in class at his school. His mum said Kameron was sent to the teacher’s office several times almost every day.
Kameron’s teacher Stephanie Williams began to look for the thing that would be a motivation (动力) for Kameron to change his behaviour. One day, she found that Kameron showed great interest in the school bus. An idea came to her. She asked Charles Frierson, the bus driver, to let Kameron get on the bus before the other students arrived.
From then on, Mr Charles and Kameron became best friends. Now Kameron’s good behaviour is rewarded(奖励) with sitting on the bus early and spending time with Mr Charles.
The change in Kameron was great. “He will follow all rules all day long to have five minutes with Mr Charles,” Stephanie said. “And after that, he changes himself into a better student. ▲ ”
“It is always said that it takes a village to raise a child, but one to make a difference. Mr Charles changed my son,” Kameron’s mum said. “I would like to thank him for what he has done for my son.”
