Ⅵ. 阅读理解
阅读下面短文,并用英语回答问题(请注意每小题的词数要求)。
I started dancing 80 years ago. Everybody thinks that no one will dance ballet for so long, and I really thought that I was going to finish in my 20s. But now it is true that I am still dancing at 85 years old. People think I’m unusual. I love children and I love them to enjoy ballet. I know some of them will not continue, and they might stop learning it, but I think they will keep the most important thing—love for life.
In London during the World War Ⅱ(第二次世界大战), we always went to the ballet and I always loved it. And I really wasn’t very good at it. But I was lucky that I had wonderful teachers. My teachers always said that I was a good dancer. So I just kept on dancing and never gave up.
So now I hope I can give the message to the children: Life is a journey but it is too short to do what you want to do. Whether it’s painting, ballet or soccer—whatever you really love to do—it’s never too late to learn and enjoy it. So start doing what you love doing now.
1. When did the writer start dancing? (不超过5个词)

2. Why did the writer keep on dancing during the war? (不超过10个词)
______________________________
3. What does the passage probably want to tell us? (不超过15个词)
