答案:
Long-distance travel is meaningful. It broadens our horizons and锻炼 our willpower by letting us experience different cultures and overcome challenges. Before traveling, we need to prepare carefully: pack necessary items, book accommodation in advance, and make a detailed travel plan. For safety, check the weather forecast, buy travel insurance, and save emergency numbers. With proper preparation, long-distance travel can be a wonderful experience that enriches our lives.
一、朗读下面文章。(满分5分)
Enjoying Beijing on My Own
Many of us love travel, for it allows us to relax, and it widens our horizons. I used to only travel with family or friends before 18, but recently I discovered that travelling on my own can be more rewarding.
Several months ago, when a friend had to cancel our planned trip to Beijing, I decided to travel on my own anyway. I had thought I would feel quite lonely, but I actually got a lot from it. Visiting the city alone meant that I could make my own plans and visit the sites I really wanted to see. And being alone, I had time to reflect on my life. It slowed things down and allowed me to take a deep breath. With no travelling companion, I chatted with the local people, which gave me a great insight into the city’s culture and the lifestyle of the locals. Most importantly, the trip made me feel much more independent and confident—all thanks to travelling alone.
So my simple trip to Beijing turned out to be a life - changing experience. I will always treasure how it made me develop as a person. And it’s inspired me to take more solo trips in the future.
