I am happy to be a helper at home. I often do two chores: washing the dishes and looking after my pet dog, Lucky.
After dinner every day, I always wash the dishes. At first, I found it tiring, but now I can do it quickly and well. On weekends, I look after Lucky. I feed him, take him for a walk and clean his house. He is my good friend.
Through doing these chores, I have learnt a lot. I have improved my life skills. I can take better care of myself and others. More importantly, I have understood the meaning of responsibility. My parents are busy with work, so doing chores is a way to share their burden. I feel proud when I see the clean dishes and Lucky’s happy face.
