My first week at middle school has been full of new experiences. On the first day, I was a bit nervous as I walked through the school gate. Everything seemed so different from primary school.
The next day, I met a friendly boy named Alex. He has a great sense of humour and we quickly became friends. During the break, we chatted about our hobbies. Alex loves playing soccer and he’s really good at it. He told me he used to play for his primary school team.
We also started our new subjects. One of the most interesting subjects is geography. We learned about different countries and their unique cultures. I was fascinated by the pictures of the Eiffel Tower in France and the Great Wall in China. Another new subject is biology. In the first biology class, the teacher showed us some amazing plant specimens. I can’t wait to do more experiments in the coming classes.
After school, Alex and I joined the art club. We painted pictures together and shared our ideas. It was a wonderful way to end the day.
I’m sure this school year will be full of surprises and adventures. I’m looking forward to learning new things and making more friends.
