Technology is making many people rude. Some people use it to spread misleading information and post improper things. People post rude comments (评论) about others or make fun of people online, because they feel like they can do so without being punished. Bad guys use the fake IDs to get personal information and steal people's money. Because of all this, kids should only visit safe websites, and parents should monitor their kids' social media (社交媒体) moves.
Technology can be good, but too many people use it for bad purposes. We should avoid wrongdoing by not being rude online.

Technology does not make us rude. A person's personality (性格) has a lot to do with it. Yes, cyberbullying (网络霸凌) is common. But people can report bullies online so the bullies get in trouble. People can be unkind, but they can also be nice. Some video games even encourage players to help each other, so people learn to be kind. Besides, social media helps us remember important dates, such as birthdays. This reminds us to spend time with important people. Also, technology helps us socialize (社交). We can communicate with each other without travelling long distances.
I think technology is making us kinder. Some people believe technology is pulling us away from each other, when actually it pulls us together.
