D
Long ago in ancient China, there was a lady named Xishi in the State of Yue. She lived in a small village and was very beautiful and charming (迷人的) in every move. Xishi often had a pain in her chest (胸腔). At that time, she would press her chest with one hand and frowned slightly (微微蹙眉). But this made her look even more beautiful.
In the same village, there was a woman named Dongshi. She was not good-looking. One day,Dongshi saw Xishi frowning and pressing her chest. She thought,“Xishi looks so beautiful like this. If I do the same,I will be as lovely as her!”
The next day,Dongshi started to imitate (模仿) Xishi. She pressed her chest, frowned deeply, and walked around the village. She hoped everyone would notice her and say kind words. But instead, the villagers were scared or laughed at her. The children ran away, and the old women closed their doors.
This story teaches us an important lesson. Dongshi only saw Xishi's outward (外在的) action but didn't understand that Xishi's real beauty came from her natural charm, not the move itself. Dongshi blindly tried to be the same as Xishi without thinking about their differences. She didn't understand that everyone is unique (独一无二的),and copying others without thinking can lead to funny situations!
