The sky is blue. The clouds are white. Does it mean the air is good? No. Maybe there is ozone(臭氧) pollution. There is some ozone in the air, usually 30 kilometres above the ground. It can protect us from the UV light. But if there is too much ozone near the ground, it becomes a kind of pollution. It is bad for our health. It is also bad for some plants. Smoke from cars and factories can become ozone in strong sunlight. So when it is sunny and hot, there may be more ozone in the air in the city. What can we do? Drive less! If there is too much ozone in the air, stay indoors until sunlight is not so strong.
