Let's enjoy a long painting. It shows you how the people in the Northern Song Dynasty lived.
Qingming Shanghe Tu is also called The Qingming Riverside Painting. It is a famous painting by Zhang Zeduan. The Qingming Riverside Painting is a super-long Chinese painting from 1,200 years ago! It's like a "window to the past" showing life in ancient China.
The painting is 528 cm long and 24.8 cm wide. It shows us the real life in the country and in the city at that time. It tells the daily life of different people in the capital city of Bianjing(today's Kaifeng,Henan Province)during the Qingming Festival. There are three parts in the painting：spring in the countryside,crowded Bianhe River ports and ★ . There are different natural things and buildings,boats and bridges,people and scenery.
