答案:
根据下文“In the meantime, the boarded window let in bugs but not light.” 故选 A。 3. 故选 A。 5. 6. B 【点拨】fall behind 落后;give up 放弃;set off 出发,启程;calm down 冷静下来。 根据“It was a 12 fix.” 11. A 【点拨】quality 质量;way 方式;sense 感觉;meaning 意义。 故选 A。 12. 13. B 【点拨】more difficult 更困难的;less challenging 没那么具有挑战性的;more changeable 更易变的;less safe 更不安全的。 share sth. with sb.
