哲理故事(2024·合肥市第四十五中学一模)In the woods stood a nice little pine tree(松树) named Dew. The place he had was good. The sun shone on him and around him there grew many other large trees.
However, he always had a lot of regrets, which made him feel unhappy. For example, he was sad because he wasn't as tall as others or didn't have many friends like others.
One day, many young trees were cut down and taken out of the woods. A bird told Dew, “They will be made into beautiful wood carvings(木雕) for people to watch.” The little pine tree wished to join them one day. The next year, Dew's dream to be made into a wood carving came true. He appeared at a party and got lots of people's praises for his beauty. Dew enjoyed the happy time and hoped it would last forever. But he was wrong. Two days later he was thrown into a dark corner because it took too much space.
