```
Can the time go slower?
I'm still thinking of
The answers.
```
```
Can the time go slower?
My head is not
Yet clear.
```
```
Can the time go slower?
For me the rules of maths are
Too hard to remember.
```
```
Can the time go slower?
My grade is what my father
Really cares about.
```

So can the time go slower?
My dear teacher,
I don't want to run behind others.

Oh! No!
There are still lots of questions
To be answered!
```
2. Why does the writer ask “Can the time go slower” again and again?
3. Name a title for this poem.
Ⅳ. Read the passage and fill in the blanks.
The title of this passage is “Stretch Your Senses”. We all have five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. How do you stretch your senses? By using your imagination.
Think of a topic. It might be a feeling, a season, a colour or a kind of music. Now think of words that describe your topic using your five senses. Think of how it feels, tastes, smells, looks and sounds. You can't say how a colour really tastes or how music really smells, so use your imagination!
Now write the name of your topic on a piece of paper. This will be the title of your poem. Your poem will have five lines. One line will be a description of how your topic looks, another line will be a description of how it feels, and so on. Try to describe things by comparing them to other things. For example, you can say “water is as clear as glass” or “wind, smooth like cat's fur”. When comparing things, both “as” and “like” are useful words. You can say “tears fall like rain” or “anger as black as a storm”. You can also make a description by saying one thing is something else: “Morning is a bird.”
