Ⅱ. 回答问题
阅读下面短文,并用英语回答问题(请注意每小题的词数要求)。
At school, I was always the shortest boy in our class. When I was in Grade Six, our school volleyball team looked for new players. I was interested in volleyball and decided to try out.
One morning, lots of boys and girls were trying out for our school volleyball team on the playground. Most of them were tall and strong, so they talked about my height.
But I didn't care. I just walked to the playground. Then I tried some actions, but I wasn't good at passing the ball. So the coach told me that I was not the right person for volleyball. I said, “I know I'm not good at passing the ball, but I'm a hitter (主攻手). I hope you can give me a chance.”
The coach looked at me. And he decided to give me a chance. I jumped very high and hit the ball down well. I succeeded and everyone was amazed. Of course, I was chosen for the volleyball team and became the star of our team in the end. Nothing is impossible as long as you never give up and try hard.
