5 A wrong way
今天 Peter 想要去图书馆查阅资料。在去图书馆的路上,发生了什么呢?
Peter wants to go to the library, but he gets lost. He sees an old man in the street. Peter says, "Hey! Where is the library?" The old man doesn't answer.
"Can you hear me? Where is the library?" Peter gets angry and shouts. The old man looks at him and says, "Go along this road and turn left at the second crossing and then turn left at the park. And you can see the library."
Peter does what the old man says. He walks for a long time. He meets the old man again. Peter is very angry and shouts, "Why did you tell me a wrong way?" The old man says, "Because you asked in a wrong way."

Peter feels sorry for that. He thinks of his mum's words: Please be polite to people. He asks the old man again, "Excuse me. How can I get to the library?" The old man answers, "Walk along the street. It's next to a supermarket."
"Thanks!" Peter says happily.
