(四)新素材 白蛇传
|题目:《白蛇传》的演变|体裁:说明文|难度:★★★★★|建议用时:14分钟|正确率: /4|
| ①The Legend of White Snake is one of China's most famous stories. It started as a warning(警示的) story, but became a timeless love story loved by Chinese people for centuries. ②The earliest version(版本) of the story appeared in the Song Dynasty. Li Huang, a writer in the Tang Dynasty, meets a beautiful woman in white and spends three happy days with her. But soon, he becomes sick and dies(死亡) suddenly. Later, his family finds out the woman is a white snake living in an empty garden. This story teaches young men to be careful with strangers. ③In the Ming Dynasty, Feng Menglong added dark humour(黑色幽默) to the story. Xu Xuan is a poor man who loves money very much. The White Snake gives him stolen(偷) money and marries him. When Xu Xuan gets charged(指控) because of the stolen money, he runs away. The White Snake follows him and doesn't let Xu go. Xu feels so helpless that he decides to kill himself, but a kind monk called Fahai saves Xu Xuan. He catches the White Snake and locks her in the Leifeng Pagoda. Feng's story teaches people not to care too much about money. ④In the Qing Dynasty, a writer called Fang Chengpei broke with tradition. He showed the White Snake's purity(纯洁) and love, and turned Fahai into a cold-hearted character, trying to stop their unnatural love. In his story, the White Snake risked(冒险) her life to save her husband, Xu Xuan, by bravely fighting Fahai. However, Xu Xuan is selfish(自私的) and weak, only caring about himself. ⑤In the past century, calls for freedom in marriage made the story different. In the 1950s, Tian Han made the White Snake a symbol of love and free will. Xu Xuan, now named Xu Xian, becomes a better character. Touched by the White Snake's bravery, Xu Xian grows into a devoted(忠诚的) and loving husband. Fahai, however, is described as a heartless controller(控制者), always keeping to unreasonable rules. The story tells that love is stronger than trouble. |
