Although carnival(狂欢节)is celebrated in towns and villages throughout Brazil and other Catholic(天主教) countries, Rio de Janeiro(里约热内卢) has been regarded as the Carnival Capital of the World. The Rio Carnival is the biggest carnival in the world. It comes between the mid-February and the late February every year, and over one million foreign visitors come to Brazil to spend the Rio Carnival.
When the Rio Carnival comes, people dance, sing, party and have fun. There are many parties that take place before, during and after Carnival all night and all day.
