Spring comes. The little tadpoles(蝌蚪) are swimming in the lake.
One day, Mother Duck is playing with her babies in the lake. The little tadpoles ask, “Aunt Duck, where’s our mum?” “I don’t know. But your mum has a big head.”
The tadpoles see a fish with a big head. She is swimming. The little tadpoles say happily, “Mum, Mum!” “Sorry, I’m not your mum. Your mum has four legs.”
They see a tortoise. She is sleeping. “Mum, Mum!” the tadpoles say loudly. “Sorry, I’m not your mum. Your mum has two big eyes and wears a green dress.”
Finally, they see a frog. The frog is jumping around. “Mum, Mum!” the tadpoles say loudly. “Oh, my dear babies!” Mother Frog says happily.
