Hello, little friends! Today is World Ocean Day—a very special day for our big blue
planet.
First, let me tell you something about our earth. It is 1 of water. As a matter of fact, sea water 2 (cover) about 71% of it. So the ocean is important to people and animals. It is home to many animals and plants and it provides water and food 3 people. But people do many bad things to it, such as 4 (throw) and pouring wastewater into it. In some places, the sea looks 5 a big rubbish bin. So we need to do something to protect the ocean. Here are three 6 (suggestion).
Use plastic things as little 7 possible. They are hard to break down and are bad for animals and plants in the ocean.
Take part in beach cleaning 8 (activity) often. Collect rubbish 9 recycle( 回收) it.
Help more people to know about the importance of the ocean, and ask them to join in the activity of 10 (protect) the ocean.
