How I spent the Dragon Boat Festival

The  Dragon  Boat  Festival, also  called  the Duanwu  Festival, is  a  traditional  festival  in  China. ① It is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. People celebrate it in order to commemorate Qu Yuan, a famous poet. During the Dragon Boat Festival, people in China often put wormwood outside the door, eat rice dumplings and have dragon boat races.

② At the last Dragon Boat Festival, we wore five - color silk thread in the morning. Then I watched dragon boat races with my parents on TV. I helped my mother make rice dumplings at  noon. ③ Besides, I called all my friends and said “I wish you a healthy Dragon Boat Festival” to them. I think I had a meaningful Dragon Boat Festival.
