My favorite festival
There are many traditional festivals in China. Among them, I like the Dragon Boat Festival best.
People celebrate it on the fifth day of the fifth month in the Chinese lunar calendar. This festival is in memory of Qu Yuan, one of the greatest poets in China. I like it best because I can eat the traditional food—zongzi. It’s very delicious. My mother usually makes zongzi by herself. What’s more, I can enjoy the dragon boat races. People in China usually have three days off. I always enjoy myself at this festival.
In a word, I think the Dragon Boat Festival is very interesting and meaningful!
