Friday Bill and Carl

Bill is a poor shoemaker and Carl is a rich businessman. They live in the same building. Bill lives on the 1st floor and Carl lives on the 2nd floor.
Bill likes singing very much. He always sings loudly and happily when making shoes. Carl doesn't like singing, so he is angry and says, "Bill, I'll give you a bag of gold every day if you stop singing."
"Well, good," says the shoemaker.
Bill stops singing and gets a bag of gold every day. He becomes very rich. But he feels unhappy and gets ill.
One day, Bill comes to Carl's home with all his gold. He says to Carl, "Take your gold back. I can't stop singing. It is my life."
From then on, when Bill makes shoes, he sings loudly and happily again.
