The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is one of the most fantastic natural wonders.
It is in Xizang. On a sunny day, you can look down to the bottom of the canyon. There is a silver river thousands of miles below you. It can reach almost 6,000 metres deep. If you look across to both sides of the canyon, it goes far away for more than 500 kilometres. I think it's not just big but huge.
The canyon is not only well-known for its depth and length but also famous as home to colourful plants and thousands of animals. So people call it “the plant museum” and “the animal kingdom”.
