Once upon a time, there was a prince. He wanted to marry a princess.
He looked far and wide but he did not find a princess. The prince went back to the castle. He felt sad.
One night, there was a big storm. A very wet princess banged on the door. "I am a princess. Can I come in, please?" she asked.
The queen let her in. The queen wanted to know if she was a real princess. She put 20 mattresses on the princess's bed and hid a pea under them.
That night, the princess slept in the bed. She found the bed very lumpy and she did not sleep well at all.
The queen knew the princess was a real princess because she felt the pea. The prince and the princess got married. They lived happily ever after.
