My house is too noisy. Dad is riding his noisy exercise bike. Mum is talking about the electricity bill.
Tuesday, 6th October
I just had an idea! I think I can help Mum save money. I will change Dad's bike. It will make electricity! I'm going to get my tools and start!
Wednesday, 7th October
I put a special wheel on Dad's bike. It rubbed the front tire when one rode it. This made electricity. It turned a small light on! Dad was angry because he couldn't find his bike. He asked, “John,do you know where my bike is?” I just smiled and didn't answer.

Thursday, 8th October
I did it! I put two more special wheels on Dad's bike. Now,it could make a lot of electricity. It turned two TVs on! I will show my invention to my parents tomorrow.
Friday, 9th October
My parents loved my invention. Dad was happy to ride his bike again. When he rode it,we could all watch TV. Mum was happy because our family was saving a lot of money. I was happy! I made a great invention!
