More than 20 students from two high schools in Washington State go on an exciting trip to China. Jake Junior Tei and his twin brother are two of them. They stay there for eleven days.
Jake Junior Tei is a student from Lincoln High School. He is very excited to visit Wudang Mountain in Hubei Province. It is a great place to experience Chinese martial arts(中国武术). The brothers love kung fu movies very much. They are interested in learning real Chinese martial arts. Later, they meet a teacher in Wudang Mountain. And the teacher teaches them some tai chi(太极). It is really surprising. What a great experience!
When they leave Hubei, the American students come to Guangdong. And they have a bigger surprise there. They visit a famous person's old home in Guangzhou. It is now a museum. Jake Junior Tei sees many old photos and learns about him and his family.
They reach Shenzhen after visiting Guangzhou. There they meet some Chinese students and sing songs together. They have great fun.
The trip to China means a lot to the American students. They not only learn Chinese martial arts and Chinese culture, but also make many Chinese friends.
