Ⅳ.阅读理解
新素材 边旅游边集邮 Stamp collecting has recently become a new way for young people to record their travels. Instead of simply taking photos of famous landmarks, they now look for different stamps of the attractions(景点) during their journey. When travelling, they would take postcards or travel notebooks with them, where they put the stamps with the pictures or names of the tourist attractions. Some tourist cities also offer a special "passport" for the tourists to collect stamps.
Kuang Zhaoxin is one of them. She sees stamp collecting as a great way to record the trip. Early last year, she experienced stamp collecting for the first time and decided to make it part of her travel. Before each trip, she searches for stamp collection tips on social media where users share their stamp-collecting experiences, discussing where to get stamps for free, which places offer the most stamps, and where collectors can spend less time waiting. By sharing these, she is able to make more new friends with the same interest.
Shi Junchu, 29, from Yunnan thinks it can add more meanings to the travels. "This habit has improved my understanding of different places, because when I collect stamps, I dig deeper into the stories behind each stamp. Those stories help me take a new look at the attractions, or I would just miss them," she told a news reporter. Actually, many also find the stamps themselves a kind of art. They are seriously designed with rich cultural elements (元素).
Stamp-collecting activities are getting more popular in different parts all around China, which helps the tourist attractions improve tourism with culture and education.
