B 新素材 未来的智能生活 (2025·安徽芜湖繁昌区期末)
Welcome to your future life!
You get up in the morning and look into the mirror. You look young. In 2135,many people can live to be about 150 years old. So at the age of 40,you’re not old at all. And your parents look the same age as you!
You say to your shirt, “Turn red.” It changes(改变) from blue to red. In 2135,“smart clothes” can change the color or style(样式) as you like.
You walk into the kitchen. You pick up the milk, but you hear the voice(声音), “You shouldn’t drink that!” Your fridge remembers the information about the milk. It knows that the milk is not fresh. In 2135,every household appliance(家用电器) is like your secretary(秘书).
It’s time to go to work. In 2135,cars drive themselves. Just tell your “smart car” where to go. On the way, you can call a friend with your watch. Such “smart technology” is all around you.
So will all these things come true? “All these things will come true, even better,” says a scientist. I agree with the scientist. I am looking forward to the new life.

C(2025·北京东城区期末)
Some time ago, I saw people flying kites on TV, so I asked for a 精题详解
basic one for my birthday. However, my parents came home with one shaped like a dragon. It was quite expensive and very large!
At first I really wanted to fly it. But it was the beginning of a long winter, and it was impossible to try it out because it was too cold. So I almost forgot about the kite, except when I opened the cupboard(壁橱) and saw it still in its box.
Recently, I asked Dad to take the kite out with me. We went somewhere near our home, called Maple Rise. It’s high on a hill and usually very windy, but not that day. I began to think we would have problems getting such a big kite into the air. But Dad said that when he was a child, he and Grandad had gone kite flying on the beach. Grandad would throw the kite into the air, and Dad would run along, pulling on the string(线). What Dad didn’t tell me was that the kite often hit the ground and sometimes even broke.
But that wasn’t our experience. The wind increased a bit, and suddenly the kite went off—and stayed in the air. Fantastic!
Since then, I’ve become better at flying kites, and I’ve even made my own. I love kites with traditional designs painted on them, but I’m not very creative, so I just build them, and I don’t mind that they’re simple. They look great, even though they don’t always fly well. But I’m slowly learning what works and what doesn’t. I can make different kites now, and I can choose the right one according to how strong the wind is. I had some bad luck sometimes, like seeing some of my favorite kites disappear on stormy days. But I love kite flying, and I always tell my friends to try it!
8. The writer didn’t fly her new kite when she got it because ______.
A. she didn’t like the shape
B. the weather wasn’t good
C. she just wanted to keep it
D. the kite was too expensive
9. How did the writer feel when she arrived at Maple Rise with her dad?
A. Worried. B. Relaxed.
C. Pleased. D. Bored.
10.中考新考法 推断文章主旨 What’s the passage mainly about?
A. Why the writer enjoys flying kites.
