The ocean isn't as quiet as you imagine. Most of the noise is caused by sea animals. They use sound to find what they eat, whom they play with or which general position they move towards. But the noise from human activities is increasingly troubling the lives of ocean animals.
One reason for loud underwater noise may be the use of sonar(声纳) underwater since 1950. Another main reason is pile driving(打桩). Piles are mainly supports for building bridges.
