(河北石家庄期中)I'm Ted and I come from Brazil. I live in China with my parents now. The Dragon Boat Festival is my favourite festival. It is a traditional Chinese festival and I always do something different on that day.
On that day, people have zongzi for lunch as usual. So I buy some rice, sugar and reed leaves(粽叶) with my parents at the supermar - ket. I fold the leaves with my mother and my father does with the rice. We work together to make zongzi.
After having zongzi, we go out to a fa - mous park three kilometres away from our house. There are lots of interesting activities in the park every year, such as dragon dance and the dragon boat race. We see many people tak - ing part in the dragon boat competition. Of course, we also join in it. However, other boats run faster than ours. So we usually lose the competition but we have a great time there.
Although it is tiring, I am excited to learn something meaningful about the festival. I like the festival.
