Ⅴ. 任务型阅读:阅读下面短文,根据短文内容,完成下列各题。
Do you know the phrase “once in a blue Moon”? People use it to describe something that they do not do very often. For example, someone may say that he will eat chocolate “once in a blue Moon” because the food is unhealthy. Or someone who does not usually like to go to the beach may say “I visit the beach once in a blue Moon”.
The first thing to know is that the Moon itself is never really blue. The phrase “blue Moon” has nothing to do with the _____ of the Moon. As the Moon goes around the Earth, it keeps changing its shape. When we can see the whole Moon, it is called a “full Moon”. Usually there is only one full Moon every month. Sometimes, however, there will be two full Moons in one month. When this happens, the second full Moon is called a “blue Moon”. However, a blue Moon happens every two to three years.
This fact has made people use the phrase “once in a blue Moon” to describe rare(罕见的) events(事件) in their life.
