How are you? I had a wonderful time during the Chinese New Year.
Before the festival, my family and I cleaned our house thoroughly. We also put up red couplets and paper - cuttings on the doors and windows. They are very beautiful and bring a strong festive atmosphere.
On New Year's Eve, we had a big family dinner. There were all kinds of delicious dishes, such as dumplings, fish, and chicken. After dinner, we watched the Spring Festival Gala on TV. It was really interesting.
During the festival, I visited my relatives and friends. We exchanged greetings and gave each other red - envelopes with money inside. It's a symbol of good luck and happiness.
