Claire works as a reading volunteer in her free time. She wants to help those children with reading difficulties. Some years ago, she joined in a volunteer programme(项目). It was a six - week programme with two half - hour classes a week.
Claire started reading with Zach. As a writer, she wanted to share her love of books with the boy. During their classes, Claire encouraged Zach to read for fun. One day, the boy asked Claire why he had to read. Claire told him he could find books on all his hobbies. "Are there books about planes, dogs or football?" Zach asked. "Yes," Claire said.
