On a sunny morning, Mike and his parents went to their new neighbour’s(邻居的) house to welcome them. There were no other children on Mike’s street, and he hoped to make a friend to play with.

One day, Mike and Ling played outside with Lucy. “You know, when we first met, I didn’t think we could be good friends,” Ling said.
“But I’m glad we are friends now,” said Mike.
