How are you doing? I’m writing to invite you to come visit me in my hometown, Wuzhen. It’s a really beautiful place.
Wuzhen is an ancient water town in the south - east of China. There are many small rivers and waterways. People build their homes right along the water. It’s a peaceful sight.
There’s so much to see and do in Wuzhen. Visiting the town’s historic areas is a good way to learn about its history. There, you can see ancient bridges over quiet water and old houses along rivers. You can also enjoy my favourite local activity: watching the bamboo acrobatic show. It’s amazing to see the player do interesting tricks on a tall bamboo pole!
If you come during the Wuzhen Theatre Festival, you can watch some wonderful shows. Many people take part in this festival. In fact, people dress up like different characters from both Chinese and Western stories. It’s so much fun!
