Tianjin has opened a fast line for cherry ships from Chile,s 5 2 hours for port in and out. At the container terminal(集装箱码头),all three production lines are used,making s 6 that each cherry container is dealt with in 20 minutes. T 7 these efforts,cherries can reach markets in Hebei and Beijing in 5 hours.
Besides local efforts,faster transportation comes from closer economic(经济的) and trade ties between China and countries t 8 part in the Belt and Road Initiative(“一带一路”倡议).
According to 2023 data,Chile's cherry exports(出口品) to China have grown by about 29 percent every year in the past 7 years. B 9 of closer trade cooperation(合作),cherries can now reach Chinese consumers at lower prices,helping them e 10 “cherry freedom”.
