According to an article in a magazine, Joana and her team did some experiments on mimosa (含羞草), a plant.
In the experiment, they planted 56 mimosas in different pots. Then they dropped some water from a of 15 centimetres. At first, each time they dropped water on mimosas, the plants closed their leaves. But , the plants didn't close their leaves any longer. These plants of mimosa to know that the small drops of water wouldn't do any harm to them.
