答案:
It seems that more and more countries around the world are holding celebrations of Chinese Spring Festival. I think the reasons are as follows. First, millions of Chinese spend their holiday overseas during Spring Festival, bringing huge tourism benefits to their popular destinations. This greatly contributes to the spread of Chinese Spring Festival. Second, with Chinese economy developing rapidly, more and more people realise they must learn more about Chinese culture if they want to cooperate with their Chinese partners. All in all, I think this phenomenon is a reflection of China's economic boom and I believe more Chinese culture will be accepted by the world.

Grandma got Grandpa out of bed and helped him to the kitchen for breakfast. After his meal, she led him to his armchair in the living room where he would rest while she cleaned the dishes. Every so often, she would check to see if he needed anything.
This was their daily routine after Grandpa’s latest stroke (中风). Although Grandpa was once very active, strong and healthy man, his badly damaged left arm, difficult walking and slurred (含混不清) speech now kept him housebound. For nearly a year he hadn’t even been to church or visited family. Grandpa filled his hours with television. He watched the news and game shows while Grandma went about her day. They made an agreement—he was not to leave his chair or his bed without her assistance.
Grandma was friendly, outgoing and unselfish. Grandpa was reserved and devoted to his family. But he didn’t like giving gifts. He held the belief that if you treated your wife well throughout the year, presents weren’t necessary, so he rarely bought gifts for her.
It was a typical cold winter morning in New York. As always, Grandma walked Grandpa to his chair. “I’m going to take a shower now,” she handed him the television remote. “If you need anything, I’ll be back in a little while.”

After her shower, she glanced towards the back of Grandpa’s chair but noticed that his walking stick was not in its usual place. ________
As she stood alone on the street desperately, Grandpa walked around the corner. ________
答案:
任务一:The article mainly talks about the daily routine and unspoken bond between Grandma and Grandpa after Grandpa's stroke.
任务二:1. stroke 2. walking 3. assistance 4. A typical cold winter morning
任务三:Paragraph 1: 1. She thought Grandpa had gone outside and felt very worried about his safety. 2. Grandpa might fall to the ground and get injured or lost in the street. 3. Grandma might keep looking for Grandpa wherever she thought possible. Paragraph 2: 1. She scolded Grandpa for going out alone. 2. Grandpa bought a present for Grandma. 3. Grandma was very surprised and moved.
任务四:【参考范文】 After her shower, she glanced towards the back of Grandpa’s chair but noticed that his walking stick was not in its usual place. She had a horrible feeling that Grandpa was gone. So fearful was Grandma that she grabbed her coat and rushed outside. What if he fell down? What if he was hit by a car? Grandma couldn’t help having these thoughts. Regardless of the freezing cold air, Grandma kept looking for Grandpa wherever she thought possible, but without success. As she stood alone on the street desperately, Grandpa walked around the corner. Every small step was difficult for him. Quickly Grandma walked up to him and began to scold him, “What’s so urgent that you couldn’t wait? Do you know how worried I was?” After saying these, her eyes were moist. Grandpa just smiled and passed her a delicate box, “Now I can’t treat you well throughout the year and the only thing I can do for you is to buy you a gift. Open the box to see if you like it.” His slurred words warmed the cold winter morning. Tears flooded Grandma’s eyes as she took Grandpa’s arm and led him back home.
