Friends,an important kind of people in your life—like the bright light in the dark tunnel(隧道),the only boat in the sea and the warm clothes in winter—always overcome(克服)difficulties with you. I totally agree on the idea that taking part in group activities is the best way to make friends. The reasons are given as follows.
First,friendship which is established(建立)by group activities is more lasting and stronger. In the activities,you have the same motivation(动力)and work for the same goal. It will make you closer. Also,facing difficulties together is a good way to make your friendship stronger. When you are in trouble,you will try your best to work them out. You will help each other,trust each other and work as a team. When you finally work out the problem,you will understand each other better.
Second,these friends may be more outgoing than the friends you meet in other ways. For example,two friends can do what they can to help others,because both of them are kind and like to offer help to someone in need. As an old saying goes,"To help others is the fountain(源泉)of happiness." So,you and your friends can get happiness,and it will also help make you closer.
All in all,this is why I hold the idea that taking part in group activities is the best way to make friends.
