Beep! Beep! Beep! I got up and turned off my alarm clock. It was still dark outside. I got dressed quickly because I knew both of my dogs couldn't wait to get outside for their morning walk. 1.E It was still autumn but the weather here in the Appalachian Mountains didn't follow the date. It had been cold and snowy two days ago, but warm and rainy yesterday. I didn't check the weather report for today. Finally, I decided to choose my light jacket and took my bigger dog Fluffy to walk first.
I opened the door and went outside. 2.D Each breath I exhaled (呼气) was freezing cold. The grass was covered in frost (霜) and I tried to keep my balance while Fluffy pulled me. I shivered (哆嗦) but then I turned my head up to the sky. I looked up at the dark sky and saw it was full of twinkling stars.
3.A Suddenly, I felt warmth inside of me and stopped shivering. I opened my heart to the wonder of nature's creation. In all of its sweet seasons, it had never failed to touch my soul (灵魂). It had warmed my heart on the coldest days and lighted my spirit on the darkest nights. 4.______F Our lives here are full of sweet seasons as well. Enjoy and make each day of them a creation of your love.
