A
Emma, Lucas, and Mary go to the same school and they're good friends. They often spend time talking and playing together. Now they're talking about their sibling relationships.
Emma:
"I have a younger brother named Jack. I feel like a third parent to him. I help clean his room. Sometimes, I make breakfast and lunch for him when our parents are working. That makes me feel really good. Of course, sometimes he may do something I don't like. But he always finds ways to make me happy. For example, he may draw me a funny picture or share his favourite candies with me. After that, we're friends again!"
Lucas:
"I have two sisters, and I'm the middle child. My older sister is great. She takes me to football practice when our parents are busy. And she is good at all subjects. I always try to tell my friends how amazing she is. My younger sister always follows me around. She wants to play with me and my friends all the time. At first, I don't like it, but then I realize she just likes being with me. We are all different, but we still love each other very much."
Mary:
"I don't have any brothers or sisters, but I see my cousin Amy as a sister. She lives with us. We two share a room, and she's my best friend. We do everything together, from watching movies to going shopping. We also give each other good ideas when there is a problem. Also, whenever one of us is sad, the other tells jokes to make her happy. I can't imagine(想象) life without her."

51. C
根据短文中的“I help clean his room. Sometimes, I make breakfast and lunch for him when our parents are working.” 因此,选项C(①Cleans his room. ④Makes meals.)
52. D
根据短文中的“My younger sister always follows me around. She wants to play with me and my friends all the time.” D(To play with him.)
53. C
根据短文中的“I don't have any brothers or sisters, but I see my cousin Amy as a sister. She lives with us. We two share a room”可知,Mary和她的表亲Amy共用一个房间。因此,选项C(Her cousin Amy.)
54. A
A(siblings can be nice to each other)是正确的。
55. B
B(Do You Have Brothers or Sisters?)
