As I'm sure you remember, we talked about joining a taekwondo(跆拳道) club. Well, I'm sorry to say that it seems there are no taekwondo classes in our area.
But I thought of a better idea. We can start our own taekwondo club for middle school students. If at least five people join, I can get a private instructor (私教) to teach a class once a week. Mr Morris, the PE teacher, said that we could meet in the school gym.
I hope the club is more than just taekwondo lessons, though. We could run a fund-raising(资金募集) event to get money to buy things like special soft mats (垫子). We need them when we practise. We could also meet to do things like watching martial arts(武术) movies.
Let me know if you are interested in the idea. If you are, please tell me which days and times are best for you. Do you prefer to practise after school or during the weekend?
