A
Once there was a king who had everything, a rich country, a kind wife, nice children but he was still unhappy.
Once he went to a small village where a potter (陶工) was selling pots (陶罐) outside the park. At the potter's shelf, some pots were filled with water and the potter was singing happily.
The king came to the park and after coming out of the park, he saw the potter and sat near him. The potter gave some water to the king.
The king was moved (感动) by the potter's happiness. Sitting beside him, the king watched for a while and started thinking that the potter made little money in his work.
The king said to the potter, "Brother, will you come with me to the city?"
The potter asked, "What will I do after going to the city?"
The king said, "Well, there you can make lots of pots, more than you make here."
The potter asked, "Then what will I do with those pots?"
The king answered, "You will be able to make a lot of money by selling them."
The potter asked, "Then what will I do with that money?"
The king was surprised by his question and said, "What will you do with money? Money is everything."
The potter asked, "Now, you tell me what I will do with that money."
The king said, "You can live a comfortable and happy life."
Listening to this, the potter asked the king, "Sorry, ▲?"
The king got silent, as if this question shocked (震惊) him.
Then after a while, the king said, "Yes, you are lying comfortably at this moment and I can see you are in complete (完全的) happiness."
The potter smiled and said, "Yes. That's what I am telling you that money can't buy happiness."
