Losing your phone is a pity, but I did just that when I got into a taxi and closed the door heavily. I heard a loud noise. It was the sound of my phone’s screen breaking. Besides the sound of breaking glass, the other sound I heard was my own voice saying, “Oh, no! What have I done?”

Smartphones are great, but you should be smart about using them. Put them away in your pocket for a while and enjoy the real world, but you should still be careful about getting into taxis.
