A group of 8th graders at Zanesville Middle School raised $150 to support the Animal Adoption Shelter Society.Mrs. Neil's class raised the money in just 3 days by selling “Shamrock Grams” for $1 across the middle school. The group, called the “Kindness Club”, presented the Animal Adoption Shelter Society with the check(支票).
Alex Boring, a student in the club, said that the class was a great cause for the community and helped her feel better. She said, “Sometimes when I come to school in a bad mood, I do something in the Kindness Club for somebody else. It makes me feel a lot better. So my attitude changes a little bit.”
The general manager of the Animal Adoption Shelter Society, April Cohagen, said that the money from the students means a lot, and that the class is full of students with kindness and honesty.
