The Lantern Festival is a popular festival in China. People also call it Shangyuan Festival. It's in February or March. We can see the first full moon of the year at this festival.
At the Lantern Festival, people usually eat tangyuan with their friends and family at home. We also call it yuanxiao. It looks like the moon. Some are filled with sweet bean paste and some with meat. It is yummy. Many people like to hang lanterns at home. Colourful lanterns are everywhere. They look really beautiful at night.
After dinner, people usually go out and watch lanterns in the park. We can find big lantern shows there. We can guess riddles in the park too. People always have a good time at this festival.
