From my viewpoint, Chang'an is seen from the perspective (视角) of Gao Shi, a far less famous poet than Li Bai. With him leading the plot (引领情节发展), people can find it easy to enjoy the movie and understand the changes of the Tang Dynasty well.
I think poems describe not only the changes of the Tang Dynasty, but also people's understanding and feelings of the world. Chang'an is like a moving scroll (画卷) that allows us to become interested in ancient poetry.
